Event description:

The Global Energy Show, taking place from June 11-13, 2024, has expanded beyond its traditional base in oil and gas and now features exhibitors and presentations from the energy sector, including:

• renewable energy such as wind and solar
• alternative energy such as geothermal, nuclear, energy storage, fuel cells and transmission
• oil and natural gas

Other clean technologies, products and services will also be a key part of the show, such as:

• hydrogen
• carbon capture, use and storage (CCUS)
• emissions control such as methane
• energy efficiency

Related digital solutions will also be present.

Hosted in Calgary, the energy epicentre of Canada, the Global Energy Show is the largest platform showcasing innovation and technology that can help meet an increasing energy demand during the transition to a lower-carbon economy.

The Canadian Trade Commissioner Service will be participating in the Global Energy Show to help Canadian companies connect with international buyers, through a curated meeting program as well as an Export Café where companies can meet with Trade Commissioners from around the world to gain insight on opportunities in their markets.

We anticipate up to 10 Trade Commissioners from markets outside of Canada (including the United Arab Emirates, Ghana, Nigeria, China, Colombia, Ecuador, Argentina, Saudi Arabia (Bahrain & Oman) and Iraq) will be attending. There may also be buyer delegations attending from other markets, not accompanied by a Trade Commissioner.
