Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) is a world leading venue for discussions on energy, technology and innovation. The event is a driver in the energy transition, taking place every two years.
ONS features nine conference venues and eight exhibition halls. This includes a separate location dedicated to:
- renewable energy
- carbon capture and storage
- powerful energy carriers like hydrogen and batteries
ONS has been a meeting place for governmental representatives, high-ranking politicians, global thinkers and industry executives for over 50 years. His Majesty King Harald V of Norway is the Royal Patron of ONS, and the ONS Week has traditionally been opened by a member of the Norwegian Royal Family.
New for this year are dedicated, in-depth conferences focused on:
- nuclear power
- biogas
- green shipping
The program will also feature a Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) Operator Tour. All new ONS components will take place on August 27, 2026.
